The Minneapolis Institute of Arts (MIA) is a beloved destination of ours.  We go there monthly to get lost in the art.  We go to our favorites and roam around to explore new pieces.  The MIA is an institution of learning, celebrating and experiencing different eras and cultures.  From modern art to the Impressionists to ancient Egypt, there is something there for everyone to be drawn into and immerse themselves.  

We recently went to the MIA Gala in support of this wonderful institute.  It was an incredible night filled with fashion, fun and fancy.  

A glamorous night catching up with friends in the luxurious hallways of the MIA was for sure a highlight for me.  As one who loves the MET Gala, this was our local version of it and it did not disappoint!  It felt magical as we walked through lit hallways of chandeliers, champagne towers and listened to fabulous music by DJ sets Spinderella of Salt-n-Pepa, Mina Moore & Lenka Paris.  

It was a beautiful night celebrating creativity and community as we supported MIA's mission to inspire wonder and learning through the power of art, and to keep this wonderful museum free and accessible to our entire community, including many of their special exhibitions.
